OFC Fundraiser at Amanda’s Feel Good Fresh Food in Berkeley! Fellow Edible East Bay local hero award recipient, Amanda West, is revolutionizing the way we look at fast food. Check out her website at http://www.amandas.com! Using local and organic ingredients, Amanda has created an affordable menu of items and snacks that are affordable, promote a sustainable lifestyle and not to mention are delicious! Join Oakland Food Connection at Amanda’s in Downtown Berkeley on Wednesday, September 30th from 4pm-9pm and 15% of food sales will go to supporting Oakland Food Connection’s programs!

SATURDAYS Year Round 10am-2pm at 4173 Macarthur Blvd at Maybelle St.
Come check out Oakland Food Connection’s community farmers’ market in the parking lot of Trattoria Laurellino’s on Macarthur Blvd in the Laurel District!
Fresh, local organic produce (at some of the BEST prices in town)—Local businesses and vendors—Music and activities for kids—Senior Discount Days!
We also accept EBT and WIC!

OFC Afterschool Programs
School is now in session! And that means OFC is back in the classroom reaching more students and inspiring more youth leaders! OFC afterschool programs begin next week at our two school garden spaces—Oakland Unity High School and EC Reems Academy of Technology and Art. We are empowering youth to learn more about their local environment, how to grow their own food as well as cooking and nutrition education through our afterschool programming

Laurel Movie Night on the Patio
Save the Date! The next OFC Laurel Movie Night on the Patio featuring Shira and Yoav Potash’s fantastic new film, Food Stamped will be Wednesday, October 21st from 7pm-10pm at 4173 Macarthur Blvd in the parking lot of Trattoria Laurellinos!
